MLB World Series Game 3: San Francisco Giants vs. Texas Rangers

The San Francisco Giants traveled to Texas with a 2-0 lead in the World Series, both wins at home. After Game 3, they left Rangers Ballpark with a 1 game lead, 2-1. The final score of the game was 4-2 Rangers. All the scores for scored off home runs.

In the 2nd inning Mitch Moreland hit a 3 run home run which brought Nelson Cruz (has 5 postseason home runs), who doubled, Bengie Molina, who walked, and himself to home plate. In the 5th inning Josh Hamilton (5th in postseason) hit a solo home run. In innings 7 and 8 the Giants tried to stage a come back with solo home runs by Cody Ross (5th in postseason) in the 7th and Andres Torres in the 8th.

Both starting pitchers got a 'decision', Colby Lewis, of the Rangers, got the win while Jonathon Sanchez, of the Giants, go the lose. Also, Neftali Feliz got the save. Colby Lewis pitched for a total of 7 innings and 2 outs of the 8th inning allowing only 5 hits, 2 runs both earned home runs, walked 2, and had 6 strike outs. Jonathon Sanchez pitched for 4 innings and 2 outs in the 5th allowing 6 hits, 4 runs all earned, 2 home runs, walked 3, and had 3 strike outs. Neftali Feliz pitched only 1 inning, the 9th, allowing no hits, no runs, no walks, and 2 strike outs.

Not much to talk about but I found it cool that all the scores were from home runs.
